Tremonti is the brain child and solo project of Mark Tremonti who is best known for being the lead guitarist & co-writer of Creed and Alter Bridge. Mark created Tremonti back in 2010 with him backing the vocals for the first time on a project. I have to say, his voice kicks ass! The band Tremonti has released four albums with the most recent release “A Dying Machine” coming out in early 2018.

I got the chance to cover their show at the Cone Denim Entertainment Center in Greensboro North Carolina. I was excited to cover their show because Mark Tremonti is one of the most talented and respected musicians in the rock scene today. There was a good crowd of fans lined up around the building waiting to get inside the doors. After I got into the venue I waited patiently for the lights to dim and for Tremonti to hit the stage. The band walked out and the crowd raised their fists in the air with a pumping action while screaming in excitement. Mark said hello to the crowd and you could see the joy on his face, so the fans new he was happy to be there. They opened with the song Cauterize to get the crowd amp’d up. They followed with a mixture of songs from their new and old albums. One of the songs I was very excited to see played live was “Take you with me” off of their A Dying Machine album.
The band was phenomenal and they sounded great. Marks voice was on point and hit every note while kicking ass on guitar. The entire band was amazing and their execution of each song while keeping the high energy flowing throughout the venue was top notch. If you have not seen Mark Tremonti’s solo project “Tremonti” live then you are missing out on a great show.
