All that Remains
I got the chance to photograph Massachusetts very own metal band All that Remains. I was born and raised in Mass so seeing a home band on tour is always exciting. They are from Springfield Massachusetts and formed in 1998. They have grown to become one of the top heavy metal bands currently recording and touring in the last 20 years. They have released 9 studio albums and have sold over a million records.
All that Remains makes a statement when they come on stage. They bring a determined to kick your ass like attitude to the stage. Once they came on stage you felt the metal fandom in your blood start to froth up. Lead singer Philip Labonte was very personable on stage and talked with the fans and then he destroyed them with heavy metal. His vocals were clear and on point, their choruses sounded great and even the backing vocals from the rest of the band was on key and really brought you into the performance. This was my first time covering them but they definitely made an impression. The band worked well together with a smooth transition into each song. The crowd was very excited to see them and you could see the fans singing back the lyrics to Philip Labonte.
The overall performance we powerful, personal and everything metal. If you are a fan of All that Remains and have not seen them live yet I recommend for you to check them out.
